This tribute to Billie Holiday was produced by Tony Bennet and Danny Bennett except for God Bless The Child, which was produced by Phil Ramone. The strings were arranged and conducted by Jorge Calandrelli and the tracks were recorded at Clinton Recording Studios in New York City.

The album was released on February 4, 1997 and features Ralph Sharon on piano.
