Released by Audiophile Records and produced by Gus Statiras, the tracks were recorded at The Downtown Sound Studio in New York City on January 27, 1978 and February 3, 1978.

The album's liner notes states that, "Chris Connor has a ball swinging the up-tempo numbers and emotes great feelings into the ballads. There's a tune for everyone."

Chris is accompanied by a quartet with arrangements by Mike Abene.
